Greg Hlibok Appointed as ZVRS’ General Counsel and Compliance Officer


Clearwater, FL – May 23, 2016

ZVRS, a video relay service provider, today announced the appointment of Gregory Hlibok, Esq., as the company’s new general counsel and compliance officer. Greg brings unique expertise and vast experience in regulatory and leadership to ZVRS’s management team.
Prior to joining ZVRS, Greg served as the Chief of Disability Rights Office in Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau at the Federal Communications Commission. As the Chief of Disability Rights Office in Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau, he administered a wide array of disability rulemaking proceedings and policy matters to ensure accessibility for persons with disabilities including advancements of relay services and various issues on accessibility of communication technologies.
Greg is known for his leadership role during the Deaf President Now movement at Gallaudet University in 1988 where he was named as ABC’s Person of the Week. In 2015, he received the Individual Leadership Award from the Howard County Commission on Disability Issues. Admitted to NY Bar, Greg holds a BA in Government from Gallaudet University and a JD from Hofstra University School of Law. He is the current Vice President of the Board of Trustees of his alma mater, Lexington School for the Deaf and Center. As a life-long leader, Greg continues to remain active in promoting the rights and opportunities for Deaf individuals.
