Senior Software Developer - SIP
Clearwater, FL
The primary responsibility of this position is adding functionality to support new business requirements. The focus will be on managing and creating a SIP network in support of VoIP and IP video applications.
*Solid understanding of the SIP signaling protocol is required.
*Solid understanding of SIP user agent, proxy, registrar and SIP based applications.
*Solid understanding of SIMPLE and XCAP protocols.
*Experience with H.323 endpoints and gatekeepers.
*Experience with video technology and video codecs.
*Strong fundamentals in real-time software development.
*Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
*Solid unit and integration test skills including interoperability testing.
*Strong background in solving performance and high availability problems.
*Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 5+ years SIP, H.323 protocol experience.
- 3+ years IP Video application experience.
- 5+ years software development using Linux, XML, C, C++
