Video Engineer

Responsible for managing evolving, operating and maintaining a nationwide on demand video call systems for CSDVRS, LLC, a leading video service relay provider
Essential Functions:
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills; • Ability to manage in a rapidly changing network environment that is continuously rolling out new products and features. • Expertise with video phone products made by Tandberg and Polycom is essential. • Specific expertise in H.323, SIP, MCU, VCS, registration, presence and gatekeeper systems required. Non-Essential Functions: • Demonstrates attention to detail; Strong decision making. • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Assist in developing alternative solutions; Completes projects on time. • Responds to requests for service and assistance; • Balances team and individual responsibilities; Contributes to building a positive team spirit; Supports everyone’s efforts to succeed. • Assist in improving processes, products and services. • Demonstrates knowledge of EEO policy; Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; Builds a diverse workforce; Supports organization’s goals and values. • Assist with organizing or schedules other people and their tasks; Observes safety and security Procedures.
• A degree in computer science or a related field. • Familiar with ENUM based dial plans systems • Ability to track SIP and IP packets from end to end, trouble shoot and fault isolate • A current Polycom CVE certification is a strong plus.
